Vessel Ops

Stevedoring Services at Kandla Port

Hatch-to-hold discharge and loading of bulk, breakbulk and project cargo with in-house gangs and gear — maximizing berth throughput.

How we work it

We work our own gangs and our own gear. Discharge rates are planned hatch by hatch before the vessel berths, and the same supervisor stays on the operation from first grab to sweep-up — so nobody at the berth is waiting on a decision.

What the scope covers.

Discharge and loading

Grab discharge of salt, clinker, coal, minerals and fertiliser; loading of bulk and bagged cargo with trimming and levelling in hold.

Gangs and shifts

150+ trained workforce across rotating shifts, signallers, hatch supervisors and tally staff on every hatch.

Gear on hire-free basis

Owned wheel loaders, excavators with grabs, dumpers and payloaders positioned at berth before arrival — no third-party equipment delays.

Hold cleaning and sweeping

Tractor sweepers, water tankers and manual gangs for hold cleaning, dust suppression and final sweep before survey.

Questions we get asked.

Do you handle both discharge and loading operations?

Yes. We run grab discharge and shore-loading operations for dry bulk, and gear-assisted loading for bagged and breakbulk cargo at Kandla / Deendayal Port.

Is equipment owned or hired?

Owned. Our fleet includes 20 excavators, 10 wheel loaders, 20 dumpers, trailers, water tankers and sweepers, so berth working never stops for want of machinery.
