Breakbulk Cargo Handling at Kandla Port
Bagged cargo, steel, pipes, machinery and non-containerized loads with proper dunnaging, lashing and gear.
How we work it
Breakbulk is where careless handling shows up immediately — bent plates, torn bags, rejected units. We plan slinging and dunnaging per cargo type and keep the same supervisor across shifts so stowage stays consistent.
What the scope covers.
Cargo handled
Steel coils, plates, billets, pipes, structures, bagged cargo, timber and packaged machinery.
Gear and rigging
Correct slings, spreaders, clamps and lifting tackle selected per cargo; forklifts and hydras for shore movement.
Stowage and securing
Dunnage plans, lashing and securing to master's satisfaction, with pre- and post-operation photo records.
Damage control
Tally at every transfer point, damage reporting and surveyor coordination.

- 01Cargo assessment and gear selection
